To our beloved Mockingbird community--

It is with great sadness that we announce that we will be permanently closing our doors as of February 1st, 2021. Our little family is moving south to Louisiana; down the line I hope to open a New Orleans branch of Mockingbird so that I can continue doing the work I love. 

​

Serving the Nashville community has been far more fulfilling than I could ever have imagined when I opened our doors in 2015. It has been an absolute joy to be invited into your lives, and to have helped make your beloved pets comfortable and happy. Hundreds and hundreds of families have trusted us to walk with them during their pets' final days; I can think of no greater honor. The way you love your pets is incredibly inspiring.

 

On impossibly difficult days, you welcomed me into your home with warmth, grace and humor; we've shared meals, cups of coffee, tears, and the best hugs. Y'all have cared for me as much as I have cared for you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Nashville--I love you and I will miss you!
